Will this product work for me?
Illumiflow laser caps are designed to help both men and women experiencing hair thinning or loss caused by common conditions such as androgenetic alopecia (male or female pattern baldness), postpartum hair loss, menopause-related thinning, stress-induced shedding, or general hair weakening with age. The caps use low-level laser therapy (LLLT), a safe, non-invasive technology that stimulates hair follicles, increases blood flow, and supports stronger, thicker hair growth over time. It works best for those who still have active follicles, meaning some existing hair is present. While results vary from person to person, most users who stay consistent with their treatment see visible improvement in hair fullness and scalp health.
When can I expect results?
Everyone’s hair growth cycle is different, but most users notice early improvements within the first few months. During the initial phase, you may experience some light shedding as weak hairs make way for stronger new growth. Visible thickening and regrowth typically begin around the 3-6 month mark, with the most noticeable results appearing between 6-12 months of consistent use. Continued use helps maintain and enhance your results over time.
What model should I choose?
Illumiflow offers several laser cap models so you can choose the one that fits your needs and goals.
The 148 model is a great entry-level choice for those just starting their hair growth journey. It is used every other day for 30 mins and fits up to 23.5" in circumference.
The 272 Pro and 272 Pro XL models provide stronger coverage and are ideal for users with moderate thinning or those wanting faster, fuller results. It is used every other day for 30 mins & fits up to 23.5" in circumference for the standard and 24.5" for the XL.
The 272 DualWave combines 2 laser wavelengths for deeper follicle stimulation and added effectiveness. It is used 6 minutes daily & has a softer, more flexible deisgn.
For those looking for maximum coverage and power, the 302 Flex and 312 DualWave are our most advanced options, featuring the highest diode count and full scalp stimulation. These models are used 6 minutes daily & have a softer, more flexible deisgn.
No matter which you choose, all models use medical grade lasers and deliver the same proven therapy. Higher diode counts simply increase scalp coverage & treatment intensity.
What payment options do you have?
We accept all major payment methods through Shopify, including credit and debit cards, PayPal, and Shop Pay. You can also use your FSA or HSA card directly at checkout to purchase your Illumiflow laser cap with pre-tax healthcare funds.
Do you have a warranty?
Yes, every Illumiflow laser cap comes with a full two-year warranty. If you experience any issues during that time, our support team is happy to help with repairs or replacements. Simply email us, and we’ll make sure you’re taken care of quickly and easily.
What if I don't see results?
Consistency is key with low-level laser therapy. Make sure to follow the recommended treatment schedule and continue using your cap regularly for at least 12 months. Because hair growth happens gradually, it can help to take photos every month to track your progress. Shipping Questions
How long does shipping take?
Orders for most Illumiflow products are processed & shipped within2-3 business days.
The 302 and 272 Pro XL models currently have a higher demand & take approximately 7-10 business days to ship.
Our 272 DualWave and 312 DualWave models are in presale, which means they require about 1-2 weeks to process before shipping.
Once an order ships, delivery within the United States typically takes 2-3 business days. For international orders, delivery usually takes 3-5 business days, although this can vary depending on the customs clearance process in each country. Tracking information is always provided as soon as your order ships so you can follow its progress every step of the way.
What are the shipping costs?
Shipping is completely free for all orders within the United States. For international customers, shipping costs are approximately 50 to 55 USD depending on the destination. International shipments are also subject to duties, taxes, or import fees that may be charged by FedEx or your country’s customs office. These additional fees are the responsibility of the customer and vary based on each country’s regulations.
Where do you ship to?
Illumiflow ships to most countries around the world. At this time, we are unable to ship to Germany, Spain, Mexico, Turkey, or Greece. All international orders are shipped through FedEx for fast and reliable delivery.
What is your return policy?
Illumiflow’s Growth Promise Policy allows refunds only after a full year of consistent use. Returns are not accepted within the first 365 days.
If you don’t experience hair growth after 12 months, you may request a refund between 365–395 days of receiving your cap.
Refunds are subject to a 25% fee, which can be waived if you provide 12 clear, monthly progress photos.
To qualify, your cap must be registered within 45 days of receipt. To start a return, email support@illumiflow.com with your name, order number, serial number, and photos.
How do I track my order?
You can track your order through the shipping confirmation email you receive once your package ships.
All U.S. orders are shipped via FedEx or USPS, and the email will include your tracking number and a direct link to follow your shipment.
You can also track your order through the Shop app or by logging into your account at illumiflow.com/account/login. If you need help finding your tracking details, email us at support@illumiflow.com.
How do I modify my order?
If your order hasn’t shipped yet, we may be able to make changes for you. Please email us right away at support@illumiflow.com with your order number and the details you’d like to update. Once an order has shipped, it can no longer be modified or canceled.
Our 365 Day Growth Promise
No new hair after 12 months? You’ll get your money back, simple as that. We believe in the power of red light therapy because we see it change lives every day. But hair growth takes time, consistency, and commitment.
Step 1: Register Your Cap
Within 45 days of receiving your Illumiflow Laser Cap, register it by emailing support@illumiflow.com with your: Name, Order Number, Cap Serial Number and Before Photo
Step 2: Use It Consistently for 12 Months
To qualify for the Growth Promise, you must use your cap as directed for the full 365 days. Hair regrowth doesn’t happen overnight, stick with it and stay consistent.
Step 3: Still No Growth? Get Your Refund
If after 12 months (365 days) you don’t see any new hair growth, email us between Day 365 and Day 395 to begin your return process. See details here.
